This Privacy Policy describes how Atelier SW LLC, operating under the trade name Polis (“Polis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise handles information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

3. Political and Preference-Related Information
Polis is designed to provide personalized civic information. To do that, we may collect and use information about your issue priorities, civic preferences, and similar preference-related information that you choose to provide.
We use that information to provide and improve the Services, including generating personalized ballot guides, comparisons, and alignment-related outputs.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, as described below, we may use third-party analytics, advertising, measurement, and related technologies in connection with the Services.
4. AI and Model Providers
The Services may use third-party artificial intelligence, large language model, and other model or inference providers to process your inputs and generate outputs. As a result, information you submit through the Services, including prompts, survey responses, and other inputs, may be transmitted to and processed by such providers on our behalf.
We may also use user inputs and outputs internally to operate, maintain, debug, evaluate, and improve the Services, subject to applicable law and our contractual commitments.
